  4. Anonymous asked: I started riding, not fixed, although I really want to.. What do you think is the best type to ride first/get you one step closer to fixed?

explain this a little more? as in like is there a way to work up to riding a track bike? If that is the case, no. I think the best way to start riding fixed is to ride a fixed gear.. try riding with a front break on a flat surface, no hills quite yet.

if you are wanting to ride fixed as in break less riding

I wouldn’t recommend you doing that right off the bat.
if you mean like sort of bike? I would look on craigslist for bikes that are older late 70’s, 80’s and 90’s bikes that have been converted to fixed. you can usually get them for a pretty decent price.

    hopefully that helped?

  5. Anonymous asked: how can you find out what size your bike has to be?

depending on your height, say you were around 6’0ft about like me, I enjoy riding a 58cm to a 60cm

I think its kind of a preference thing when it comes to where you want your frame to sit between your legs.

  6. “I was just rolling up Sullivan street an hour so ago and I see this guy looking mad suspicious with latex gloves on yanking on this wheel thats on this bike still locked up. I say “is that yours?” and pull out the camera. The rest you can see from the following video until he got in my face and i turn the camera off. After a struggle, he went back behind this building and hid the wheel. I called the cops on this mouthbreather. Look at that mug…. GAH!

They came and he tried to flip it on me, and say that i was working with an accomplice who loosened the wheel and i came by to scoop it. The owner of the wheel eventually came by and confirmed that he did not know this guy and got his wheel back. By the way, he is the super at 115 Sullivan street in manhattan. DONT STEAL BIKES BRO. NYC”
